Somalia appoint new head coach

Sam Ssimbwa has been appointed as the new coach of the Somalia national football team.

He will manage the squad at the Cecafa Tusker Challenge Cup that kicks off next weekend in Kampala to end in December.

 

The coach is said to have been granted permission from the management of his present club,
SC Victoria to take up the two-week job.

He began working yesterday with the Ugandan Cranes who have been camped in a hotel in Namboole. Somalia play the Cecafa completion in group B alongside Tanzania, Sudan and Burundi.
