Three new schools were announced to be opened in capital Mogadishu soon.
Bilal Kose, the principal of the only Turkish school — Bedir high school — in Mogadishu told AA correspondent that they were building up a new education complex where 700 students will receive education.
Kose also said that Turkish charity NGO “Kimse Yok Mu” was building a high school for girls, a primary school, a dormitory and a 60-bed hospital at the city center.
Saying that they were supported by both the government and the Somali people, Kose added that also there was a Turkish class.
He said there were a lot of orphans in Somalia due to the 21-year-long civil war and they were supporting them by scholarships.
